Pour in the mess. Pull out every address.
Drop a list, an inbox export, a scraped page, anything — Sieve finds every valid email, sorts it by provider, and hands it back however you need it.
Paste text on the left to begin.
Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook & more — automatically split
Every extracted address is instantly sorted into its provider bucket. Copy or download just the Gmail list, just the Yahoo list, or all of them separately.
What Is an Email Extractor?
An email extractor is a tool that automatically finds and pulls out email addresses from any block of text. Instead of manually scanning through hundreds of lines of data looking for email addresses, an extractor does it in milliseconds — no matter how messy or mixed up the source text is.
Sieve is a free, browser-based email extractor that works entirely on your device. There is no server involved — your data never leaves your computer. Paste in any text and Sieve immediately identifies every valid email address hiding inside it, removes duplicates, and sorts them alphabetically or by email provider.
Email extractors are used by digital marketers building contact lists, developers cleaning up data exports, sales teams organizing leads, recruiters gathering candidate contacts, and researchers compiling data from various sources.

Tips for Getting the Best Results
- Paste raw HTML for websites — If you want emails from a webpage, use your browser's "View Source" feature (Ctrl+U), copy all the HTML, and paste it into Sieve. It will find every email in the code.
- Use Highlight mode to verify — Before downloading, click "Highlight all" to see exactly which text Sieve identified as email addresses. This is a great way to spot-check the extraction.
- Download as CSV for spreadsheets — The .csv download opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers with each email in its own cell.
- Use the provider split for targeted campaigns — Different email providers have different deliverability characteristics. Separating your list by provider lets you test and optimize each segment independently.
- Verify your list before sending — Sieve's format checker catches obviously malformed addresses, but for large campaigns consider running your final list through an email verification service to check deliverability.
